Hello all hope your all swinging your machines
And digging some holes
I haven’t been out much lately but decided to meet up with bartek in my area
We chose a well known colonial area it’s been hunted by lots of guys over the years but somehow we always manage to dig a keeper or 2 , today was no different we started working towards an old foundation we’ve hunted many times but we approached from a different angle it was a 2 mile hike in (funny it was only 1 mile hike out )
Usual trash cans , slaw few modern coins then a few buckles we followed a natural stream hunting only 1side flat spots looking for a small concentration of targets that may signify a camp or a resting place ... fresh water shade and steep cover ( this is a british area from the rev war )
I ended the day with a few barber dimes a military eagle button couple of wheats a V nickel
And the front of an eagle powder flask I’ve been told it’s 1830-1860 but any info would be helpful its an exciting find for me and it’ll look great in my collection
Thanks for reading happy hunting and good luck.
