MM and I hit the road a little late (my alarm clock didn't go off) at 5:00 am. We hunted a ball field that used to be an old farm with another very cool detecting dude named, Charlie. MM found a spot where there was a lot of broken blue glass and square nails and suggested we concentrate there.
That's where I found the old lock. Then we proceeded to another town and detected the front lawn of an old High School. This strange man with a bright red shirt, stood across the street and glared at us while talking on a cell phone. The town suddenly became like the movie "Village of the Damned" without the children, so we left.
By this time it was like detecting in a blast furnace, but we soldiered on. We hit some assorted other schools (that weren't "Damned") and then with our last gasp of energy, detected a "Gone with the Wind" style plantation house.
Here's the stuff (presented in blazing 800 pixal glory) that didn't get tossed in the "Hefty Cinch Sac-o-Wonderments".
Cheers!
