Eagle I Button

Found my first CW button, an Eagle I button, with shank intact. Brought it in and soaked it for a minutes in warm soapy water, then brushed it with a soft toothbrush. I managed to knock loose the crest containing the "I". Anyone have thoughts on how to replace the crest? Also, any cleaning tips would be appreciated.
