i finally got out inbetween storms for a couple hours at the same field i found the rattle snake button last year, there was still snow and lots of mud but i had to swing for a couple hours and did not get much mostly junk but this and i am wondering if anyone can help me out with it ? it looks old but i have no idea thank you

I’d guess it’s a broken watch fob with the “Great Seal”, from the first quarter of the 1900’s.
