Eagle button help

Found this today and I'm not familiar with buttons. Can yall help? The back is missing. Help would be much appreciated Thanks!

From what I can make out it looks like the early version (1901-1910) of a Great Seal button. If so, it is military.

Thank you! When I researched, it looked similar to a Great Seal Button. Guess the stars were throwing me off!

I don't think that is a great seal button. All the great seal buttons I can find in Albert's book have the circle of stars above the head of the eagle. That one does not. Also the eagle's feet do not seem to be carrying arrows on the right side as we look at it, although that just may be the picture. I think it may be a fashion button.

I couldn't see the picture well enough to tell if the stars were in a circle. I gusee I need some thicker glasses! I now agree with duggap. Here is one on the Waterbury website.
