Eagle Buckle Tongue

Hi all,
Dug this from salt mud a couple days back, still looking for the wreath in the iron pit of a boatyard cove.
anyone place a date on this one? I can't find much info on them. It measures 66 x 54 mm overall and the tongue itself is 48 x 28 mm.

I think is a milita plate (1845-1860), plate 329 in O'DONNELL and Campbell, used by independent companies, bands, fireman. Primarily in Mass. and New England area. Hope you find the rest, really nice find.
