Eagle and stars button

Today I dug up this small button (about the size of a penny). It has 2 holes, a hollow back, and the image of an eagle surrounded by 13 stars. I can't find any pics of it online. Anyone familiar with this?

I have no idea but trust me your in the right place to find an answer to your question. Im sure somebody will identify it for you.

The button looks gold in the photo but it is not in reality. I just had to adjust the brightness and contrast to make the details visible. Even doing that, it is kinda hard to make them out.
