Hallo,
each find seems to add even deeper misteries and questions.
I have already posted these two bullet cases. One fired the other not.
The one marked "AG 98" turned out to be a "Arsenal de Guerra -
Buenos Aires 1898"
Ammunition for the .43 Remington Patria Modelo Argentino - Rolling
block system.
The other not fired is a 1911 Union Metallic Cartridge & Co.
Brideport / Connecticut.
See this link :

Both were found some 10 Feet away in front of this old remains that
once was a haus.
The mistery to me is that this place is 3 km away from a battlefield.
What could have happened after 2 hours of battle late that night?
My only guess is that the revolutionaries split out in different directions
and got rid of the weapons and ammunition after dark. Some of them
could have made a stop at this place .By that time the haus was perhaps
still inhabited.
More than a mistery than ever !
That was one of my last rounds with the MD before returning to Germany. Now
the bullet cases I broght them with me as a souvenir from my Homeland
HH.
