I took the new E-Trac out for its second hunt this afternoon at a middle school which started out as a high school back in 1923. The VERY FIRST hit was a '42 Merc! Being very pleased with my new baby I continued the hunt for a couple hours and actually came up with enough clad to pay for a gallon of gas! During the last half hour of the hunt I found an unprecedented second Merc! ('43)!! I love this new machine! The transition from my SE is much easier than what I expected. The sounds are almost identical and the pinpoint mode is right on. The only learning curve I have to overcome are the new FE-CO numbers. The ability of this machine to cut through trash to the good stuff is amazing. This is going to be a long happy relationship.
