So yesterday I found the seated dime and was going to take a break today. Well my buddy wanted to take me to a spot today where an old picnic area used to be in the early 1900's. Him and his dad have been there before and found a lot of good stuff, so I was hopin the E-trac would pick some more out. Well we went to the spot and I only got to hunt for a couple hours because I cut my finger on glass while trying to dig something up. But my haul today includes:

2 Mercury Dimes: 1917 S, and a 1919
a no date buffalo nickel
8 wheat pennies, the earliest being 1910
a cool bottle
an old whistle that has made in Japan on it, a key, and some whatsit that has a hook on it. and the copper colored thing says Tablespoon on it
Also, I found what looks like a Meteor, but I have no clue if it is. It sticks to a magnet, but it doesn't go off to my pinpointer or the detector...I'm confused as to what it could be

Thanks for the tip, that's pretty much what it looks like minus the long chain

Nice hunt! I love old picnic areas. I sliced my finger a couple years ago on a hunt when I stumbled upon an old bottle dump... Now I wear gloves which affords me a little more protection.
