That’s by the British artist Edwin John Ellis (1842-1895). Multiple examples with identically-styled signatures exist, so I would be sure they’re lithographs simulated as paintings, with the signature as part of the print. Even so, quality period prints still have value. This one (your signature superimposed for comparison) had a pre-auction estimate of £228 ($287) but bidding stopped at £46 ($58) and it went unsold, having failed to reach its reserve:
