Yesterdays hunt yielded me a neat little piece of trivia. Buried about six inches deep in the hard pan I found this item which I think is a Radiator Ornament from a circa 1914-1921 Dodge automobile. I found it in the Texas Panhandle on a deserted Dust Bowl Era farmstead. Of coarse the Dust bowl was in its biggest rage in the 1930's. Please feel free to comment if you know something about this item. I am posting two pictures, one before clean up and one after. I hope those who know the story behind these will enjoy. I sure enjoyed finding it with my ol' trusty Bounty Hunter Camo!! Just joking I've only been at this game a short time and don;t mean to sound like I'm an old pro! Not by a long shot! Enjoy and good hunting!! Treasures 002.JPGTreasures 016.JPG:hello:

I found the exact same piece in 1984! It was when I was very new to the game and I thought for sure I had just found my first silver dollar.
I never did do any research but My guess was same as yours.
Looking forward to someone chiming in with the facts.
HH to ya.

Outstanding ! What state did you find yours! LOL ! That's unreal !

Awesome !! Thanks for the info! Made my day!!

I think those old Dodge Brothers emblems are cool. I've seen some little dried up towns and places in the Texas panhandle I'd love to run my detector over.
