I do 1k per bank branch and 8k a week some weeks. I have 2 main banks w/lots of branches.

And they dont say anything to you when you come in with 2 boxes of halfs? haha

I bring in used bank bags instead of boxes, but I try to mix it up. I try not to do more than $1000 per dump per week, and no more than $750 of that halves, preferably $500 or less.

They know me and we have a good working relationship going. I use coin lock bags that they give me. I try to only hit each branch once a week. LP

My input. Start off small and keep building your way up... if you start too big, it could backfire very quickly...

Work your way up, build relationships etc. I wish I would have taken that same advice when I started... I lost a good handful of banks by trying to go too big too fast.

So I would like to start ordering 4 box's of halfs a week, 2 boxes from 2 banks. The only problem I have with doing this is my dumping situation. Would It be to much to bring 2 banks 2 boxes a week? Would I have to dump at 4 banks? What do you guys think? Thanks!

Every bank is different when it comes to what they are willing to do for you. I once had a bank cut me off because of my dumping $500 in halves once a week. I have another dump bank that I believe I could dump $10,000 per day and it would never be a problem. You just never know.

shock and awe is the best route to start them off with. Let them know you've got halves and are not afraid to turn them in.

I dump anywhere from 1000-2000 a week on a day at one bank. no problems

And this.

I can't stress enough the importance of having a relationship built with your pickup and dump banks. This will help you immensely in the long run. I'm getting ready to move out of the area so I've been scouting the banks in my new area and I'm probably going to have to reduce my volume a bit until I can get the relationships built back up.

I did my first $1000 halves dump yesterday - in two canvas bank bags - and it went just great. I also had $375 in dimes that I did first at a different branch. I was going to break the halves up into 2 dumps, since it was my first time and I didn't know what I was getting myself in to - but I was tired and just decided to do all the halves at once. If I can find a few more branches to do this at, then I can keep it to about once a month per branch, which shouldn't ruffle anyone's feathers.
