Early start on the small farm dump I located. Was picking up broken glass to clean up the surface area. Lots of bottle caps and foil. I found these 2 items an inch or two deep; digging not MDing. The knife looks like it had the potential of being a Swiss Army style utility knife. I believe the cut-out was for a corkscrew (missing). The other item is slag of some sort. 2-1/2 oz weight, non-ferrous. Seems too heavy for aluminum and too hard for lead. Scratches with knife, but you have to really bear down to do it. Silver looking when scratched. I hope to clean the knife as much as is reasonable.
