It would appear that the larger end would be inserted into someplace, then the other end, connected to a fluid reservoir, is where in the fluid would flow into the tube and out the holes.

The cavity area would then be 'flushed' out.

I was privy digging so I guess this was the outhouse I found broken glass from 1800s down in there too

Did you happen to find a small rubber bag with a holed loop at one end that goes over a hook? :laughing7:

And, maybe a rubber hose that would fit into the end of the gizmo?
