Dug this up on a riverbank

Any ideas what it is?

I've included pics and a video to show what it's reading at and sounds like on my Racer 2.

It's small, but VERY heavy and not magnetic.

Kinda looks like a brass weight, looks like some rust in one end, like it was joined to steel, is the hole threaded?

The photo's make it appear to be copper, but copper or brass would have tarnished. Now the last photo make's it look silverish. Can you tell us what color it actually is?

Here are a few more pics of the Item, placed on one side is a UK 20p coin (colour silver) and other side is a 1penny coin.

Don't know i it helps a bit more with ID?

Can't really see proper colour of the Item in pics, but it looks a LOT like brass and definitely feels like brass...just bugging me not knowing what it is.

Did you clean it after you found it? It looks shiny. Are there threads in that center hole?

Looks like maybe a counter-weight from a beam scale. (WAG by the way).
