Wondering...what state are you in?

Also, the indoor pics are underexposed...could you take some
outside with the stone sitting on the ground or a towel (for
contrast).

Agreed, glass. Likely something from a fish tank or picked up because it was cool to them and later discarded but it makes a neat piece for a rock garden or small collection.

Is a synthetic gem a true rock? Bricks or concrete? How does one define a rock? *grins* Minor technicalities I'm sure.
