Sorry to have to disappoint you, but your button is definitely an imitation of a US Navy button, manufactured for civilian-clothing, such as mean's sportscotas and blazers. Three ID clues which disqualify it from being an actual US Navy button are the "puffed" superwide rim, the self-shank back, and the rope-border does not pass through the loop on the anchor's top.
