Went out digging for a little over 1 1/2 hours, first target was a 1973 Canadian Nickel. Was amazed at the condition it came out of the ground compared to US nickels. After a bunch of clad and a few S-Caps later, I came up to another nickel signal 51-53. When found it, i didnt think it was gold, i was thinking maybe its bronze or something, till i flipped it over and saw the 14K marking on the bottom, weighs 2.5 grams... Searched around some more, dug a few more targets before heading over. All in all, i got maybe $2 in clad. Hand full of square tabs, pull tabs, S-Cap, like 2 B-Cap, 2 piece of foil, and this little thingy. I didnt know what it was at first, i still don't now, anyone have any ideas? It is about 2x1 1/2 inch.

Congrats on your first gold!:occasion14:

Sweet How Big is it Dime Quarter or Bigger

About a mm bigger than a quarter, but it is thin, only weighs 2.5 grams on my scale.

The "14K" looks hand carved. Hoping it's not for your sake! Good find ;)
