I'm posting this not because it is a significant find but because it is my first clad dug in the field. I've had my md for about ten days now and over the course of three hunts of about 3 hours total I had only dug 2 Lincolns, both In my yard! I had found a couple of surface Lincolns, but they were as much eyeball finds as spotted by the md. Today i had about a half hour before an appointment, so decided to try my luck at the playground of a local park. I quickly dug my first clad Lincoln, followed by a Dime, a nickel, two more pennies and a couple of pull tabs. It's not even .25 cents worth, but boy it sure is good to know I am learning to use my md, thanks to slag, firemac and jas415 for pointers.

I dug my only clad for the year in a field about a month ago. Since then I've added 4 more clad coins to the total from my front yard. :D I hate clad.
