Hi All,

Dug this last night on a property that I know has history back to the early 1800's. That being said, it was closer to the surface so I can't imagine it's that old.

Shank intact, back is too rusty for ID but the face is in great condition.

Any form of ID would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The rusty steel back usually indicates a modern button - mid-20th C.

Keep digging!

Found a close match to this one that's described as a "Belgium Crest". Unfortunately since it's still a design that's in use, it'll be hard to get a date. Thanks for your time.
