I went door knocking again today with DiggerDan, first house we go to the guy tells us he went over the yard 6 times with his garrett detector and two of his buddies went over it but he did not know what kind of machines they had. He said go for it, I wanna see if you can find anything I missed!

Well the VERY first target I got was right beside a sidewalk, showed about 8" deep on my etrac, dug down and found a REAL worn 1854 Large cent! He was shocked! :laughing7:Nothing else was found in his yard, he did a good job, he told us he dug everything over several yrs living there.

Onto the next farm where I got some wheats, and then two indians in a hole to complete my penny trifecta for the day. 1882 and 1896

Right before leaving I got a 1942 merc dime which is my 300th career silver since starting detecting!

2008 I dug 12 silver with ace250
2009 I dug 110 silver with my xterra 70, was laid off and hunted 6 days a week though..lol
2010 I dug 102 silver with my etrac
2011 so far this year I am at 76 silver...........300 total silver! :hello2:

Congratulations Goes4. I bought my machine off of Mike and have been using two of your patterns. If you ever get over into Pennsylvania somewhere let me know. It would be a pleasure to learn off of you. I seem to be catching on but could use some fine tuning. Anywho, you rock, and keep em coming ! take care, Todd
