Took the day off work to make it back to the 1865 battle site. Had to hit the thick areas ,get under downed trees and wade through the sticker bushes but it was worth it.
Pretty happy with the 15 cw bullets and one percussion cap I dug. I think all but one are confederate, enfield and selmas . :headbang: 20210211_192638.jpg

That’s well worth tough conditions.
Congrats

Congratulations on a good haul. I had a spot like that where the green briars were thick and you rolled over downed logs to find the bullets underneath. You have to do the work if you want to find the goodies. At least you don’t have over a foot of snow to work around as well. Stay safe and keep swingin.

Always worth it!!! Good haul.

It's been at least four years since I found that many bullets in a single day. Nice going.

My friend that’s a great day digging congratulations

You'd think there would be some coins to be found on that site ! ?

This was where some of the fighting took place most of the camp sites where the buttons and coins tend to be have concrete on them..
Big shopping center right on top of a huge camp. I had a friend that hunted one of those camps back around 1990 and they cleaned house . Buttons, coins spurs ect.
