Hi all , I was rained out yesterday but today there was just a few showers so off l went . I recieved permission to hunt a a home from1900 but it was built on a foundation from a home much older.
I really thought I would hit a flat button or two but i found nothing older the the late 1800s. One of my first digs was a toy greyhound bus. Surprisingly all the wheels and axles are still there. It is in fairly good shape for display.
I hunted about 5 hours there then rolled back to spend time with the family. After dinner I grabbed My detector and hit the beach right in front of our rental. Ive found a few coins in the past right out front so I thought I would give it a few minutes.
To my surprise I got a faint hit that turned out to be a 1935 half dollar!
Love big silver !
Gonna try for some older stuff in the morning.
