Dual purpose bikes?

I picked up a Kawasaki KLR 650 this year and take the dirt roads as well as the fire roads. In doing so, I have found many potential metal detecting sites I never knew about. We will see if they become good choices. Anyone else with a dual purpose bike?

I have a 95 xr600 That I have bored to 628 and installed hot cams etc. It has also been made street legal, so YES I do the same. Long rides on this beast will make you too tired to detect!!
