I had a couple of hours to kill before dinner so I decided to hit a wooded area near the house. I was hitting some steep areas where they level off because I had a hunch this was a good place to “slide down” at some point in time. My hunch paid off. 1903 Barber Half, 1913 Barber dime, and 1919D Wheatie.
Best finds so far this year.

Very nice congratulations

Sometimes a "Hunch" does pay off. My first silver coin for the year was a 1898 Barber half. Next up was a 1911 Barber dime, so when you're in the zone ya might want to delay going home. Congrats on the big silver!
