Drywasher Help

It has to do with how the blade spins. Think of a motor in a car that spins clockwise. When you hit the gas, it rotates with the direction of the spinning motor. Get you a shotgun shell, #8. Open it up, put in a counted amount of shot. Run it through your drywasher with your paydirt. Out in the field. Then, when you pan, see if you collect them all. That way you know its working.

Thanks. I wasn't to fond with the classifying screen keene has on the 151 and was thinking about trying to build a trommel that would feed the drywasher. Not sure if anyone has tried this. Any pros or cons doing this. I think the rocks being scraped by the screen might yield more gold.

Good guy . I have a trommel set up for feeding my dry washers , I built a conveyor 12volt motor . The trommel works very well but I still have more work to do on the conveyor It keeps walking the belt to the side when dirt gets under the bottom roller . Still have more adjusting to do on it until lit really works .
But I still use the trommel with a pan under it and dump it in the the dry washer and still move a lot of dirt that way .

thought of a vibrator also . Built a vibrator on my trommel To keep it feeding . I have equipment to fab a lot of prospecting equipment . And a lot of springs from equipment we repair . Hard to find some one around the lasvegas valley that's interested in prospecting and willing to put effort in to it . I'm sure there are some just haven't hit it off with them . Trying to find a guy and his wife so my wife would enjoy it better .

Have you tried to join any prospecting clubs near you? Might be worth a shot, usually there are lots of prospecting couples in the clubs.

The little icons above the text box include 'Insert Image'. It has a tree in a box, 2 icons to the right of the envelope.

Click it. In the pop-up click the 'Select Files' and browse to the images on your computer. Select the image then back on the 'Insert Image' pop-up, select 'Upload Files'.

On the 'Insert Image' pop-up, you can select a tab 'From Computer' or 'From URL'. If you have the imagines on the net somewhere like shutterfly or snapfish or something, use the From URL to insert the address of the photo.
