It will affect my hobby once they get the plowing done!!!! Sick of waiting. Also it keeps us off the gravel bars and beaches if it rains too much.

It's sleeting here and we still have snow we can't wait till some warm weather gets here! I can't climb any hills and surely can't find artifacts in this weather

We've had more snow than we've had in probably 5 or 6 years here. I don't mind the cold and can still walk the beaches and ponds when there's snow on the ground. I've found a couple nice bird points doing this. When it's been above freezing and there's no snow on the ground I have managed to go digging a bit and found a few great pieces. I was hoping to go this weekend but rain and likely more snow is in the forecast. Might squeeze a half hour in this afternoon if I can.

It been raining here as well but we need the water. May see some minor flooding in a few days but nothing to worry about. Maybe it will wash something good out.

I don't hunt fields here.. but it seems to me alot of heavy rain should be great... especially on high spots. it should make some nice washouts too. And after the creeks go down they should have replenished a lot of new material to check out.

The problem right now for me is that none of my fields are plowed so the rain isn't helping wash anything up at this time. But you are right about the creek. However, it will be summer before the water is low again and right now it is not only too high but too cold as well.

I really never run out of options here..artifacts..fossils..metal detecting..fishing..surfing..diving... I have more problem deciding which to do with time off.
Have you thought about knitting?

Well got off work tonight and it was raining again. I was hoping it would dry out for a couple of days. The last hunt I had I just found a good spot and it started raining and I had to go due to the red clay getting wet. The road gets slick when wet. But I did notice just before I had to leave it seems when it rains and its cold the rocks come to the top faster. I hope they have come up by the next time I get to go. I am still looking for the rest of that point where I found the base. Thanks there was allot of good responses. I hope you guys with the snow find some good ones this yr. rock

You can make fun of me When the weather is beautiful there and its 99° and 100% humidity here.
