So after work today I decided to drive through a small residential area looking for a park or church or whatever may lead to a good spot to hunt for a while. Im driving by this old house and theres a guy kneeling in the lawn with what I thought was a weedwaker at first, I do a double take and I see him digging a hole and its not a weedwaker but a MD! so I back up, put it in park and walk over to the guy. Seems he had his machine for a little over a month, right away we hit it off. I first asked if he knew of any places to hunt because im driving around looking, he says, "well your welcome to join me, im new at this and could use a few pointers" he had a low end machine like we all had when we were beginners, I helped him out with his settings, checked some of his targets for quality and depth. He actually found his first wheats because of me and it was nice to know I could help. We mostly shot the bull during the short hunt, he had other obligations to attend to, but in the hour I spent there I did find a 1902 injun, a 1968 play dime and a 44 wheat, so sometime soon you may see a new member joining the board because I think he`s been bitten by the treasure bug.
