Dredging on Ohio bedrock

Great vid Tim! nice set up and technique, great job panning. I like your clean up rig too. You should consider a garden hose attachment for that wx15 pump. I think that it will support it coming out of the top of the pump. Then add a sweeper and valve you would more than double your production. Better marry that tender too, to find one who is into this sport is quite rare. Burrrrr that looks cold your a savage jumping in like that lol. Great post thank you.

thanks guys, ya I have a garden hose hooked to my banker spray bar to better wash material, also helps if I get a clog from surging my box too badly

Hey Buddy try this next time. Take a longer piece of garden hose what ever it takes to get from the pump to where you are running that nozzle. Put a sweep on it, that is a little cone shaped nozzle that gives your garden hose highpressure $7 at any hardware store and a small shut off valve $3 at the same place. Then open that up under water and blast that material as your sucking it up. You are going to be amazed! That's what's called a blaster (kinda) but it will work for you I promise. You will get soooo much more done with much less effort. I bet you double your production if not more. The Great Hoser John once told me, "Gotta have a blaster under water, anything else is just piddlin and diddlin." If you have any questions at all about this please feel free to ask. One other thing almost forgot. With that pump WX15 attach an adaptor at the prime port at the top of your pump that allows you to hook your garden hose there. I also run another shut off valve there as well in case I am not running my garden hose that day. I think that is 1/2" male pipe x
3/4" garden hose male. then on top of that will be your simple shut off valve. It's getting cold now days don't leave water in your pump
overnite. My best to you.

ohhh yes yes..I was going to do that this winter!..I was using it down at bills just wide open in one video..but yes a sweep its called is what I wanted to get! makes it nice to just blast your material apart and right into the nozzle!
