Hi Guys,
In this post I've show you one of my most beautiful find, of my trip. This is the lover part of a handle ,of a Roman bronze vessel. Two inches of height.I'm in love with this beauty! The next pictures is the Celtic Bronze arm bracelet with beautiful green patina, about 5 inches of diameter. Dated around 200 BC. Celtic warriors had to earn them ,and usually the chieftain awarded the warrior with.Of coarse the bigger the task was, they earned silver or gold armlets,or torc 's. In this case I guess my guy was a Young, and low level member of the tribe(just like my self on the TNet) But who knows, this kind of items always make me wander what happened back then! The smaller broken piece is also Celtic.A half broken torc,I love it regardless. I show you some pottery pieces which I came across, eather by digging and they were in the same hole, with my target,or I've just picted up valking in the woods or fields. They are also ranging between Bronze age and medieval . Note the biggest one still have moss on it,nice surface find.Probably wild boars dug it up. Boy they are all over, and be live me,they are dangerous! I have one encounter on video.Scary stuff! The last picture shows the middle section of a Bronze age axe,and a Neolithic half broken stone axe. (surface find) Anyway I have only two more post left, after that I'm going to show you Guys (especially for those who likes Wheatyes, and Mercury dimes better then ancient stuff, hey we are all different!!) the usual Indian heads, and Merck's and Barbers, which makes me happy here in the US. In the mean time allready preparing to my next trip next year. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for looking Pannonian
