Hey guys. I just dug 2 large cents and I can see that one of them is a very early one. The head is facing right. Please tell me the best way. Please. I gotta see a date...I know one of them is a draped bust cause the head is facing right. Omg I am so excited...Please. Is hot peroxide the way to go? Help. I gotta see a date.. :hello2:

Sometimes if you put aluminum foil over the coin and rub it onto the surface details can be seen that otherwise can't. Some coins are just too far gone.

Before you clean it, put some drops of milk on it. This will bring the details into relief & maybe you will be able to make the date out....

First thing I'd try is bright light and different angles. Unless there tarnish or something blocking it, chances are there's nothing left to see.
