Good morning, our new spot keeps producing copper coins! As a group, we must have found over 15 large coppers at this spot and too many Indian head pennies to count. Here are my finds from yesterday;

If you hold the draped bust large cent at just the right angle you can barely make out the date which is 1807. The classic head is an 1812, the IHP is an 1888.

I think that I’m going to call this spot “Copper Woods” because someone in our group finds a copper coin every time we go to this spot!

That sounds like a pretty magical place secondstar. Fifteen large coppers in one spot is amazing. I'm guessing there have to be more than a couple of old silvers just waiting to be dug too! Congrats to you on those nice old coppers!

Wow what a awesome place to hunt a Draped bust and a LC Ive yet to find either. Sounds like your having a Blast hunting all the coins with friends cant get much better than that..Keep em coming ......Tommy

Nice finds- Congrats! I like the Copper Woods title- I have a Seated Park- we need something for our entire state-- MASS ive amounts of old coins found ACHUSETTS?? Lame I know, I'll work on it.

They cleaned up very nice, with finds like that you're site definitely has potential. :thumbsup:
