And that's about all I did, got a few bucks in clad for the jar, and 2 wheaties, my first of the year. We hit the beach with high hopes, but it's covered in a layer of iron fragments from a sheet pile breakwater that is dissolving into the lake. After that we hit a park, but after a couple conversations about the BRAND NEW SPRINKLER SYSTEM we decided to hit an old spot, and call it a day. I'm going back to the little park with THE BRAND NEW SPRINKLERS soon, early, while everyones at work, and not there to annoy me.

For all that it was still a great day, and there's always next time.

Oh I also discovered that what I though was a white glass marble I found a week and a half ago is actually a white glazed clay marble, that was actually the highlight of today.

Well my wheats turned out to be a toasty 191? and a 1938? or 28...... So I'm off to the poker machine with todays quarters to see if I can get rich ;D

Hi Ken,
Wish I had the stamina to 'Drain a couple batteries'
Congrats on your poker winnings ;D
Wish I could get in on some poker or Jack up here,

I scored a couple wheats lately too, got dates! 1909(no s, no VDB) & a 1920.
Best Digs to You

Sounds like my normal day...lol. Lately I get trash all day, no coins or relics. Whats up with that? I'm still getting out when I can.
