Cool. Hey, my mom told me those were called 'snake doctors' and that's what I knew them as growin up. Does anybody know where that term came from?

I asked surf to work his magic and he came up with...... A folk belief that dragonflies follow snakes around and stitch them back together if they are injured. Thank you surf. You are the information highway!!
