Dozens of Silver Coins, up to 270 years old!

Here are some photos I took at the very beginning of 2013. The first photo is all of our silver coins from 2012. The second photo shows only the spanish silver coins, dating from 1740 up through the 1830s. Since then we've added all the silver coins you see in my signature line.

Simply put--my "best find" was the research and detecting time I have done in Louisiana!

Happy Hunting,

Buck

That's an awesome array of silver:notworthy: Keep up the good work BuckleBoy. You guys are killing it this year!:occasion14:

Some gorgeous handfuls of silver there Buck. A great job by all you guys (and gals). And I couldn't agree more with your comment on research and detecting. I love playing detective and trying to figure out the whereabouts of an early site that nobody else has a clue about. And of course, there's nothing any better than the thrill of the actual hunt and knowing that next beep just might be the find of a lifetime. This is such an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding passion. Hope you can keep banging out the silver. Good luck!

What are those huge silvers you have there? Giant silver!

You know, Bill...just being at a site where anything could come up at any time is a real joy. Of course, there will always be unexpected finds of a lifetime, but those sites--you no doubt have hunted some of your own--they are give you goosebumps when you set foot on them, or get a good signal there.

Now that I've hit French Colonial with the 9-deniers from last week, I am looking at the other items on the wish list:

The big one is a cap and rays Mexican 8Reales. The smaller ones are a cap and rays 2Reales, Franklin Half, and Walker.

Buck

Very VERY nice collection you're building.:notworthy: Next week I intend to hit an area from the gold rush era. Found it by accident a month ago, researched it and looks VERY promising. People still use the area as a camp ground and no structures are visible. Could find anything from 1840 to 2013. Can't wait!

Those are some awsome finds for sure Buck, I hope you and digger girl can check off all the items on your bucket lists so you can make a new for next year.

wicked collection there GREAT JOB!!

I think it'll be time to update this photo again at the end of this year. We won't have enough room in our hands for all the coins though... :D
