Dowsing as an amputee, can it be done?

Hello all,

It's been a long time since I have been on here. I am just now beginning to feel comfortable enough with my new foot to get out and start exploring again and dowsing is a subject that interests me. I would imagine that map and photo dowsing wouldn't be an issue for someone that is missing a foot and walking around with a prosthetic, but what about dowsing a field? I lost my foot below the knee and walk with a prosthetic that is made out of carbon fiber and aluminum mostly. My understanding is that while dowsing the energy used to generate the signals of an item of interest passes through your feet. I could walk on my knees, but that takes up way to much physical energy for the amount of ground that can be covered. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this if anyone feels so inclined.

HH,

Ryan

Dear Ryan,

Your are a person of remarkable courage and motivation!

I now made an experiment for you.

I took L-rods and did a search in the garden.

Rods react the same when I am walking and when I am jumping on one leg, not staning for 3 minutes.

I think it will work for you.

The energy of dowsing is not simple electrostatic energy - that we know for sure.
Being grounded may not be a factor at all.

get out there man i lost my foot when i was 13 i am 24 now and i have hiked biked and backpacked ever scince dont let that stop you from doing any thing. beside if it cam through your feet it would be amplified with a the metal

Thank you to both of you for your replies. Since I have had my foot amputated I have been able to do things that I wasn't able to do for 15 years. Already I have done 2 5K races and maybe even a tough mudder in the near future. I also plan to get out there and see if I can give my rods a work out to see how successful I can be with them. I am of the understanding that you can do anything that you want to since we are the ones that limit ourselves. I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has been able to douse without a foot. At any rate, always wear your seatbelt. They do save lives and also prevent life altering injuries. Ask me how I know. All the best to you guys.

Rjwmam, well done getting back on your"feet".no simple matter, but ahhh mobility! Good ol bi ped locamotion ! Best way to find ability, test it. had you dowsed before? Either way, your up to it. Savor your time in the field. H.H.

If you've every seen Kirlian photography of a leave that had part of it missing, the electrical field is still there.

Thanks again everyone. I know my brain still thinks that my foot is still there. I'm actually happy that it's not. I know that I'll be able to do whatever I want and I am my only limitation.

Art- It's good to see you here. I've relocated to Central Florida so I am going to be turning my efforts to Spanish Treasure and Pirate Gold here in the Sunshine State. Raw gold isn't readily abundant down here. I figure that if I focus my efforts on land and not in the water (prohibited by law here) I should come up with something. At any rate, I wish you all the best.

My best to you. Missing leg at hip. Don,t keep me from hunting though ! Tear it up. Set your own limits. Sure have some history there. Have a blast!
