Dovetails from Sunday

I went and visited with a friend of mine on Sunday and took some pictures of his collection. I figured this would be the last time I got to visit with him for a while so I wanted to bring home some souveniers. So, I picked out a few Moline Chert dovetails and decided to take them home with me. The one on the right measures 3-1/2" long and is from Stark County, Illinois. The one on the left measures 3-1/4" long and is from Henry County, Illinois. I'm happy to get these as quality Moline Chert pieces are becoming really tough to come by!

Man those are nice the one on the left has a lot of character. Looks like they have found a good new home. Glad he let you photograph also. That is alway fun.

HI TnMN....I dont believe so. I know quite a few collectors from around the country from various shows and events. But, I dont think I've visited anyone on that part of the country. I pay a lot of visits to collectors in the upper midwest.
