out detecting today and find some weird stuff first a copper or brass front plate from a time clock from florida and im in mass,then a metal cotainer unopened still full with whatever was put in it the weird thing there was a pane of glass over it about 8 inches down, then double silver 1 foot apart .

Might want to revisit that spot, as rather than being from a clock, that's the front of an old advertising coin bank, which I presume someone smashed open! The little windows on front are to keep a tally of your deposits, like here:
