My finds during the weeks lunch break. You have heard of the scorpion king; well I have his ring. Thats right the "scorpion ring"
The silver ring with gold leaves I found today. One of my operators is off on sick leave; so I have to do his lab work on his week end. To day it paid off with a silver ring with 12k gold leaves. My first ever gold and silver ring.Plus as you can see a token, dog tag and lots of clad. HH Thanks for looking.

Steve--

Nice finds, looks like a rich area to hunt.

The jewelry made of a scorpion took me back to when I was growing up in the Seventies in the Southwest... My uncle's good buddy was an artisan who made things that looked alot like this, i.e., he made cabochon jewelry of small scorpions (and other things) encased in home-poured polyester resin set in silver (or whatever metal). I remember he was constantly working on improving the quality of his pours to avoid air bubbles or cloudiness in the resin, etc. He sold his crafts to "Hippies" and truckers in craft fairs and truck stops on a merchandising circuit through Texas, Arizona, and Southern California during the Seventies.

Good stuff you've found, looks like it'll be worth many more trips to that same area!

The scorpion thing is so cool! I have one from my early childhood. I even had a scorpion as a pet for several years. It was the coolest thing to show friends and stuff. Congrats on a nice hunt.

AWESOME FIND :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
