Roger that rainbow is right over the Jupiter wreck. That second band is real close to where cap. Dom has found many a golden treasure.

Can anybody explain the distinct change in the shade of color from one side of the rainbow to the other, and back again for doubles?

The thing about a rainbow is that as you approach it, it appears to move.

Pretty appropriate as far as being a "marker" for treasure.

Rainbows are a continuous spectrum of colours. The perception of distinct bands is only how we see them.

Doubles are two reflections in the water droplets, and the color bands are reversed.
