I dug two interesting coins. My first wartime nickel, a 1944 P.

I bagged another OLDER coin too. It was of odd size for a novice.
Not a nickel, too big. Smaller than a quarter. Thinner too. Reeded edge.
OH MAN! How does one stop from rubbing the thing! WHAT IS IT 1923?
Whoa. What? Yup. 1923 1 Franc coin. As in FRENCH. Weird... Ya never know.
Yes it is a terrible cheap cell phone pic. It's how I operate.
Oh, and I am up to like 6 rusty pocket knives or so...
