I got permission to hunt my kids' school. Within seconds of putting my coil on the ground in an old overgrown soccer field, I got a nickel signal. Out popped this exquisitely detailed mini 1964 cent. I thought hey, cool, maybe there's another! Swung over the hole and got another mid tone. Wait... shiny?! It's marked 417, i.e. 10K. This is only my second gold find ever, and the first was known to be lost in the area.

Only hunted another hour or so before my boys got tired, and didn't find anything else interesting. Does the first hole jinx wear off if I leave and come back? :laughing7:

No.....go back a NJ d Continued Success to you. Congrat's to you on the finds. Well Done.

Nope ,thats a beauty well done, how much does it wiegh I found a 14 k charm bracelet years ago with little coke bottle charms, dig all nickel signals when there not bouncy.

looking vloser its not plated is it I see some spots that look like gold has worn off

It's still a bit dirty. I assumed plated at first because the clasp looks plated. But the links don't look plated to me, and the clasp is marked on the part that goes inside the other part.

Nice finds! :occasion14:

Now go back a give the area a good grid search!
