I think I better go buy a lottery ticket or something. Last weekend I found my first Trime and my second war nickle. Yesterday I hit a different field and got my first eagle button (turns out to be WWI general service), an IH and an 1851 Braided Hair LC (not 1831...correcting my prior post). This morning I only had about and hour to hunt and I went back to the same field as yesterday. Off the bat I get my first Barber half ever (1908) and my first dated Buffalo (1927) in the same hole. Later I pull another big silver coin that had me stumped. Turns out it is a 1917 British 1 Florin (aka 2 shilling) coin. I thought it was an 8 Reale at first! It's 92.5% silver but was pretty tarnished. Also got a very thin piece of busted British sterling that may have been a thimble or something similarly shaped. Man am I hooked on this hobby.
