Hello everyone, I found this item earlier today, not sure what type of vechile it belongs too.
There were no identifying marks on the handle. I am just curious if anyone has any insight into
the make or model of this handle.Thanks and be safe out there.

Window crank from a GMC CCKW-352 or CCKW-353 2 1/2 Ton truck or a Dodge M-37?

Here's the inside of a GMC Deuce-and-a-Half door:

Just a guess......

zamak 3, zinc die casting handle, I can see an ejector pin mark on the back side, probably manufactured by Stroh Die Casting in Milwaukee in the 50's and sold to one of the big three direct. Looks like cast, trim, machine and paint. Wholesale cost to customer about $2.89. Value of part today with the threads destroyed on the end of the part ...nothing. Metal content value? Weigh the part and zinc is selling for I think $1.57a LB. There you go.

Clean it up real good. There should be engineering numbers that would corelate with the auto makers part number which would give you the year, and model of vehicle it was for.

This engineering number would be for a 1963 Ford Galaxie window crank handle although it could also be used on later models if they did not change designs.
C3AJ 5423342 AA for example

C=Decade 1960
3=Year in Decade 1963
A=Galaxie model
J=?
54= Four door
23342=Base number for a window crank handle
AA=Position on vehicle as Right front, Left front etc. although in this case position would not matter, using the same part for either

Anyway if you wnat to pin it down this may help
