found some yrs back
Not something most would brag about finding
was going thru stuff in my MD'ing man cave and re-found it
was found on a Fla. beach where other pieces have been found in the past
I had some local guys down there look at it and they confirmed that they thought it was
a shuttle piece
you can see that metal was under tremendous stress to tear it apart

Pretty astonishing item to recover, historic to our time and amazing to say the least. Thanks for re-living the item on the interwebz with us.

FYI - If you visit NASA's website, they have a great accident analysis (approx 200 pages) that can be downloaded by the public. Lots of great photos, technical explanations, failure assessments...etc

Pretty incredible and kind of eerie at the same time.

You might want to contact NASA. I'm sure they are interested in recovering every piece of debris from any shuttle accident if that is truly what it is.
