Don’t They Know What Silver Is Worth – 2 - $20 Rolls SILVER ALERT
First bank I got to the mid fifties teller down the way say’s I have $40 worth. The girl brings them 2 - $20 rolls. Old wrappers. Tape. Not again. All 40’s, 4 Bens, a walker and 7 -64’s. Oh, and one 1994 clad in the bunch. Un freaking believable. 3 banks later, the girl tells my teller, I have $20 loose. He grabs, all 1967 40’s but 3. He purposely drops a few on the counter as he is counting, wow, these sound funny. 60ish gentleman looks over and I can tell he is frothing at the mouth. He asks the teller what they are and she says halves. I’m thinking, hurry and count and hoping the old guy doesn’t blow my cover. I get out of there with 36 40’s. Phew.
