Don't tell anybody but Saturday I bought BARBIE.....
Yes, I couldn't resist. I bought Barbie magazines. 4 exact mags from 1986 in pristine condition with a record inside. I will try for $7.50 to 10 each. I also bought six Mattel toys catalogs from the 70's & 80's all in brand new condition. I will try for $20 -25 each. Only paid $7 for all.
I also couldn't resist, some guy had a ton of books at 2 for 25¢ I ended up buying 44 books. They are still in my car because I can't lift the box. Several are his college astronomy and law class books. Also a lot of Nancy drew type girls books from the 50's. paid $5.50
Bought a bunch of other small things too.
Sunday I got another load of cell phones (340 dead ones) They are packed and ready for Fed-x.
AND
Sunday afternoon I bought a lot of silver coins. Won't say how much but I had to go to Wells Fargo and make a big withdrawel. Turns out last June I bought a lot of silver coins from a yardsale seller and he said his brother (up North) had some coins too and when his brother comes to visit him he will call me.
I thought to my self that will never happen. Well around 2 PM he did call and I grabbed my left over yardsale cash thinking I might get $5 to $10 face in coins, nope a lot more.
What is strange last June the guy brought out a big jar full of coins and I sorted out the silver from the clad. Yesterday I did the same thing with his brothers coins. I have a feeling they inherited these coins from the same person and just split it into two equal containers.
