haven't posted in a while too busy diggin. Still finding early, mid and late 1800's stuff in the yard. found this early 1900's artifact. made me chuckle.(i had been in the woods a while) 086.jpg

Ha........ no doubt. The comment I was going to make was edited..... you can imagine.
 

I pulled a metal tag a few weeks ago in an old man's yard and all I could read on it when I pulled it was "golden showers".... through a bit of research and some *VERY* careful Google searches I found it was an ID tag for a variety of climbing roses
 

So many things I can think of to say........But we'll just leave it at .... Nice find !!!

The treasure is not always the find itself, but in the fun it brings.
