Dont know what it is?

Don't know what it is?

Found water hunting, its just larger than 2" across. It looks to be either brass or brass plated, a magnet will not stick to it. checked immediate area for "top" no luck.

Any idea's?

Hi Kaptain, you've probably thought of this already, but to me it looks like a door or draw nob/handle. I'm sure someone will definitely Id it.

It looks to me like a knob of somesort, maybe a bed knob. How large is it?

its about 1" tall or thick and about 2" across and has a rolled edge all of the way around the opening. It is about the size of a door knob, but no clear indication of how it would attach. I thought maybe an incense burner but no burn marks in bottom that are decernable anyway. very thin similiar to older carburator float thickness.

this was found in an inland lake, about 1/4 mile from shore on a sandbar.

hmmm.... looks like DOOR knob, 2" standard
